A few years ago, our days were simple —

we rescued cats.

Through Woody Cat Rescue, we cared for injured strays, helped them heal, socialized them, and found them loving homes.

Every adoption felt like a new beginning.

But after many rescues, a quiet question began to grow in my heart:

Why are there always so many cats who need saving?

As a mother, I slowly began to understand —

most harm does not come from cruelty.

It comes from not knowing.

Not knowing why a cat feels afraid.

Not knowing that animals need boundaries.

Not knowing that they, too, have emotions and feelings.

What if this understanding could begin much earlier?

What if, instead of rescuing only after something goes wrong,

we planted the seeds of gentleness before harm ever happens?

That is how Blooming Whiskers Project was born.
